Registration Changes for 2017:
We will be taking names for a lottery for the approximately 90 spots that are open for TMC17. The Google Form will open around
noon ESTFriday, February 10th and will close at 11:59 pm ESTSaturday, February 11th. We will then randomly draw as many people as we have spots open for TMC17 (approximately 90) and place the remaining people on the waiting list. It has been a difficult decision to reach, but we felt this was the fairest way to fill the spots when there is so much more interest than space. Please only apply if you are truly serious about attending TMC17 as you might be taking away a spot from someone else. That being said, we are committed to expanding our community and we welcome new applicants. We hope to diversify TMC in the future, so we are collecting some optional demographic information this year so we can get a better sense of who currently attends TMC; this will help us prioritize our outreach and recruitment efforts in the future.

Registration Timeline for 2017:
Speaker and committee registration opened February 1

General registration closed at midnight EST Feb 11

Wait list registration is now open: http://bit.ly/TMC17waitlist

As we did last year, we will be charging a $20 registration fee. We use the registration fees to help offset the costs of TMC17. We will be sending an invoice via PayPal once we've finished the initial  registration process. After the random lottery you will receive either an invoice or an email informing you that you are on the wait list.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to figure out how to accommodate the expanding interest in TMC.

ask.png    What is TMathC?

TMathC is a conference run by teachers, for teachers. The participants, speakers and organizers communicate year round via Twitter, blogs and other social media. This 4-day conference in July is a chance for everyone to get together for face to face interactions.

The Wiki site is filled with information people have presented and produced during past conferences. There is also an archive of blog posts people wrote after attending TMC (choose a year to start reading). You can see there is a wealth of information that people bring to the conference, and even more ideas are sparked that continue in conversations and projects beyond the weekend
